Welcome to Intermission!
The past several weeks have been unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. Each week brings what feels like a bit of a roller coaster. Center Stage is working hard to adapt to this ever-changing world so that we can continue to bring you the service you expect from us, and frankly, what we expect from ourselves. We are confident we will get through this challenging time together.
Studio Re-opening and Recital 2020: We miss dancing with you and are eager to see everyone again soon; however, as of today the state guidelines have not been relaxed related to dance studios. There are still many unknowns about when and if we will be able to gather in large numbers to reopen the studio or to present a year end performance. I have spoken with the Department of Economic Development for both the City of Stamford as well as the State of Connecticut. I was told dance studios “may” be included in the phase 2 reopening plan tentatively scheduled for June 20th, but it is a big maybe. I have also spoken with the Board of Education regarding Westhill High School, and have explored several other possible options for our performance (both indoors and outdoors) but the resounding answer I receive is “I don’t know”. Very frustrating, but I’m not giving up. Hope to have information for everyone soon. Thank you for patiently waiting to hear our plans
Costumes: The studio is filled with beautiful costumes! We are waiting for one final shipment that should arrive the first week of June. If you have not received your glamorous costume(s), we have set up the following pick up schedule. Feel free to stop in at your convenience…June 10th and 11th, 3:30-5:30
Picture Day: Images by David has very generously donated their services to all Center Stage Dancers! Any student who would like to have a photo shoot in their 2020 Recital costume (1 costume only…choose your favorite!) should contact Dave directly at 203-324-9311 to schedule your appointment.
Outstanding Accounts: Statements will be emailed this week. Prior to picking up costumes, accounts must reflect a zero balance. If you are unable to make your payment during this difficult time, please reach out to us. We are here to help.
Website: We have added a new tab to our website titled Studio Update. As new information is available, we will post it here. We will also continue sending emails to our families, and posting on our Facebook and Instagram Pages.
Center Stage is at its best when you are here with us. Until that day, we’re reflecting on the wonderful memories we hold close to our hearts, and getting inspired for special moments yet to come! We are truly grateful for YOU and celebrate our tremendous dance family! Our resilience is stronger than ever and we are looking forward to the day when we are all DANCING together again!
Stay safe and be well!
